Old Town Pub is excited to welcome Joshua Quimby, it feels he is going to bring something mighty unique and equally as special. Some blues, some outlaw, a deep and edgey tinge to the music, should be a real cool night of music. Joshua and his band are accompanied by MP Gannon, a little more info on both of the acts below.

Hailing from a small town, up in the woods of Eastern Connecticut, Joshua Quimby is paving his own, fresh path with Americana music. The now Nashville, TN-based artist combines his powerful voice, expressively raw lyricism, and folk/blues/country guitar picking to produce distinctly unique and genuine material. A deep-set passion and respect for the timeless work of songwriters the likes of Bob Dylan, John Prine, and Hank Williams, Sr. amongst many others inspire Joshua’s own writing and motivation for his music. Equipped with a sound that is rustic and righteous; tried and true – Joshua has many stories to tell.

MP Gannon is a slide guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN. Steeped in the tradition of the 60’s and 70’s singer-songwriter movement, his music has a vintage feel while being stylistically eclectic, featuring soulful vocals and explosive musicianship. As one of Nashville’s foremost slide guitar players, he is a sought after session and live musician, and has shared the stage with many of the greats across genres. As an artist, he sits at the intersection of songwriting craft and a penchant for instrumental virtuosity, resulting in a unique musical voice.
