The track, released as a new single, reflects Mihali’s ongoing evolution as a solo artist. His signature sound, rooted in positivity and healing vibes, shines through in this piece, which is part of his continuous output leading up to his third solo album. Mihali has become a prominent figure in the reggae and roots rock scene, drawing inspiration from his collaborations with artists like The Elovaters and SOJA. You can catch Mihali live at the Antlers Cafe in Yampa on December 4th!
“Delilah” – Marcus King
“Delilah” by Marcus King is a track from his 2024 album Mood Swings, produced by Rick Rubin. This powerful, emotional track reflects King’s journey with mental health, a recurring theme on the album. King describes the song as a “coming-of-age tale” about learning how to love and allowing oneself to be loved. The performance showcased his signature blend of soulful guitar playing and raw vocal intensity. Marcus King is set to play an intimate acoustic performance at the Strings Music Pavilion on January 25, 2025.
“Fire in These Hills” – Imagine Dragons
“Fire in These Hills” by Imagine Dragons is a powerful and emotionally charged song, blending the band’s signature energetic style with deep, introspective lyrics. Released on this years Loom album, the track explores themes of struggle and perseverance, using fire as a metaphor for overcoming challenges. The intense instrumentation builds a sense of urgency, pairing well with the passionate vocal delivery from lead singer Dan Reynolds. This song is part of their continued evolution into more reflective and personal songwriting. Imagine Dragons just played to a sold out crowd at Red Rocks on October 17, 2024.

Released last month, the song was co-written by frontman Jim James and keyboardist Bo Koster, along with Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra. The track calls for people to come together in the face of division, celebrating the beauty of life’s diversity with a metaphor of a rainbow representing unity. The release also aligns with My Morning Jacket’s efforts to support voter registration and environmental causes through their tour.
