Marcagi’s Midwest roots shine through in this song, reflecting his pride in and connection to his upbringing in Cincinnati, Ohio. “Flyover State” is the first single from his upcoming EP, “Midwest Kid,” set for release in April 2025. The track has already garnered attention, with Marcagi performing it live during his current sold-out U.S. tour, which visits the Strings Music Pavilion in Steamboat on March 9.

“Drink From Me” – The War and Treat with Billy Strings
“Drink From Me” is a standout track from The War and Treaty’s fourth album, Plus One, released on February 14, 2025. This progressive bluegrass song features the exceptional guitar work of Billy Strings, blending the duo’s soulful vocals with Strings’ virtuosic playing. The collaboration adds depth to the album, showcasing the band’s versatility and willingness to explore new musical territories. The War and Treaty will be playing the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins on May 15, and the following night at the Ogden Theatre in Denver.
“Moonlight” – monallo with G. Love
“Moonlight” is a collaborative single by monallo featuring G. Love & Special Sauce, released on February 21, 2025. Formerly an environmental scientist, monallo transitioned to music following a near-fatal car accident, which led him to pick up the guitar and begin writing songs. Despite losing his voice completely at 23 and undergoing vocal cord surgery, Monallo persevered, dedicating himself to writing, recording, and touring more than ever before. His music, inspired by real-life experiences and the world around us, sets a relaxing, down-to-earth tone that resonates with listeners. This track exudes a feel-good vibe, encouraging listeners to embrace life’s fleeting moments by gathering friends, enjoying music, and soaking in positive energy. The song blends monallo’s vibrant style with G. Love’s signature harmonica and vocals, creating an uplifting musical experience. While monallo will not be touring in Colorado in the near future, you can find G. Love at Aspen’s Belly Up on March 13 and the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge on March 14.
