We were blessed with the incredible opportunity to talk to Cor, Alex and Tobias of Frail Talk, fresh off their opening set for Watchhouse at the Strings Music Pavilion.
Frail Talk, a Fort Collins-based band, crafts a unique auditory experience described as “squiggly music for squiggly people.” What is squiggly music and who are squiggly people? We were wondering that too, which is why we asked them. Formed by members who share a passion for innovative and genre-blending sounds, Frail Talk draws from a diverse range of influences to create their eclectic style. Their music combines elements of indie, alternative, and experimental genres, resulting in a captivating and unpredictable soundscape, which we were able to experience with special acoustic performances of their songs “Little Al” and “Slam Dunk”. Those are the first two singles to be released off of their forthcoming sophomore album, Microspirit, due out August 16.
More about their music and upcoming shows can be found on their official website.
